James Forward

Raised on the peripheries of London, James has been making and looking at art his whole life. Like a ghost, put in charge of watching and waiting, his current works explore an estranged and distant relationship with art. It’s a love story and a tragedy.

For Energy Console, James is presenting a collection of black & white photos of art galleries, set in dialogue with a group of subtle interventions with the gallery space itself.

James Forward is an artist and designer living on the outskirts of South East London. He graduated from Northumbria University with a first class degree in Fine Art specialising in painting. His work ranges across photography, internet art, print and installation. He has previously exhibited in the UK and Europe.

James is also the designer of the catalogue, website and poster for Energy Console.
